ROBERT ALLEN

SENIOR CONSULTANT

With more than 47 years in fundraising and direct-mail marketing and communications, Robert Allen brings extensive experience to Excalibur Advancement Services in his new role as Senior Consultant. A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Allen has served in various development and communications roles throughout his career, including positions at his alma mater and Wake Forest University. In 1972, Allen co-founded Excalibur Enterprises, Inc. with J.D. Wilson, helping to establish the company’s reputation as an industry-leading direct marketing and mail processing firm. Allen then formed Allen Marketing, Advertising and Communications, Inc., a strategic communications and fundraising consulting agency which earned national awards and recognition for work with clients including Vanderbilt University, Wake Forest University, Duke University, Winthrop University and Episcopal High School.
